Another round of moderate to major coastal flooding is expected tonight during our upcoming King Tide cycle. We have already seen how high the water levels have gotten, and the dangers are only exacerbated at night. Avoid saltwater flooding at all costs.
Small craft advisories and gale warnings will remain in effect through at least Wednesday for our local Atlantic and Gulf waters. Strong winds and high seas are expected.
Moderate to major coastal flooding will peak tonight and Wednesday during times of high tide, with minor to moderate coastal flooding continuing through the rest of the week and into the weekend.
High surf and dangerous rip currents will continue across our local Atlantic beaches through at least the middle of the week.
